Donald W. McLeod

Donald W. McLeod (born 1957)^[1] is the acquisitions coordinator and Sexual Diversity Studies program liaison at the Robarts Library, part of the University of Toronto Libraries.^[2] He is also a long-time volunteer at the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives.^[3]

After receiving a B.A. (1980) in Classical History and Archaeology from the University of Calgary, McLeod earned an M.L.S. (1983) from the University of Toronto.^[4]

McLeod’s background is in publishing. A former managing editor of ECW Press (1987–1995),^[5] since 2000^[6] he has edited The Devil’s Artisan (DA), a Canadian journal about printing and design history.^[7] Since 2006^[8] he has acted as the Secretary to the Board of the Champlain Society, a national organization devoted to the publication of Canadian historical documents.^[9]
